Canada took down Switzerland 3-2 behind goals from Cody Glass, Mackenzie Entwistle and Noah Dobson. Phillipp Kurashev had both goals for Switzerland.
Maxime Comtois- Comtois was physical from the get-go, finishing off checks and setting the tempo early. For the second straight game he showed that he can be a leader on this Canadian team.
Cody Glass- Glass started off the scoring thirty seconds into the game off a feed from Nick Suzuki. The Vegas first rounder has continued to show that he is an offense of threat every time he hits the ice.
Nick Suzuki- Suzuki never fails to impress on the offense of side of things. He’s got great hands, and a deft feel for the game. He and Comtois set up the initial goal for Canada thirty seconds into the contest. He’s a key player on Canada’s second line as well as their second power play.
Mackenzie Entwistle- Entwistle play the very complete game from start to finish. A strong player, he made his presence felt consistently in the win over the Swiss.
Phillipp Kurashev- Kurashev scored both goals for Switzerland in this one, showing significant offensive poise on the power play, finishing off chances well in tight.
