Cale Makar- Soph.- UMass- Makar, the No. 4 draft pick for the Colorado Avalanche is leading UMass with eight points in four games, including three points in a win over then No. 1 ranked Ohio State last weekend. He faces Merrimack tonight at 7PM in Amherst.
Max Johnson and Brandon Kruse- Soph.- Bowling Green- The sophomores have combined to score 18 points in the teams first five games, helping them lead the Falcons to a 4-1 record. They will get Ohio State next in Columbus, then tomorrow night in Bowling Green.
Riley Tufte- Jr. Minnesota Duluth- Tufte, a first round pick by the Dallas Stars back in 2016 is an incredible player to watch when he steps on the ice. The Bulldogs play Notre Dame tonight and tomorrow.
Cal Burke- Jr.- Notre Dame- Burke has had a fantastic start to the season with nine points in the Irish’s first four games of the season. The Irish have a big task ahead on Friday and Saturday, however, against the defending champions in UMD.
