Cale Makar- Soph.- UMass- Makar, the No. 4 draft pick for the Colorado Avalanche is leading UMass with eight points in four games, including three points in a win over then No. 1 ranked Ohio State last weekend. He faces Merrimack tonight at 7PM in Amherst.

Max Johnson and Brandon Kruse- Soph.- Bowling Green- The sophomores have combined to score 18 points in the teams first five games, helping them lead the Falcons to a 4-1 record. They will get Ohio State next in Columbus, then tomorrow night in Bowling Green.

Riley Tufte- Jr. Minnesota Duluth- Tufte, a first round pick by the Dallas Stars back in 2016 is an incredible player to watch when he steps on the ice. At 6-foot-6, 230 pounds, Tufte plays a pivotal role on the PP and has created quite a chemistry with star defensemen Scott Perunovich, as the two have linked up for points in three straight games. The Bulldogs play Notre Dame tonight and tomorrow.

Cal Burke- Jr.- Notre Dame- Burke has had a fantastic start to the season with nine points in the Irish’s first four games of the season. The Irish have a big task ahead on Friday and Saturday, however, against the defending champions in UMD.
